Somehow, we missed this video when searching for videos by or about Robert Maynard Hutchins, one of the people behind the “Great Books” program with the goal of reviving and restoring American education — related, not coincidentally, to CESJ’s “Justice University” program.
As the blurb on YouTube describes this video, “This 1957 interview with Mike Wallace and Robert Hutchins is a classic. The audio in this remastered version has been enhanced for better listening quality. Wallace and Hutchins’ conversation covers a wide range of important topics, including education, politics, and society. It offers valuable insights into the thinking and perspectives of prominent thinkers of the time. Anyone interested in history and the evolution of ideas in the twentieth century should watch this remastered version.”
