big news from the network is that two key people have accepted appointments to

CESJ Names Fr. Trigilio and Dcn. Gorini
to Board of Counselors
Arlington, Virginia, Friday, August 1, 2014. The Center for Economic and Social Justice
(CESJ), an interfaith, all-volunteer, non-profit think tank in Arlington,
Virginia, U.S.A., is pleased to announce that Father John E. Trigilio, Jr.,
Ph.D., Th.D., noted author and radio and television host, and Deacon Joseph B.
Gorini have accepted appointments to its advisory body, the CESJ Board of
Counselors.
Father Trigilio is president of the
U.S. branch of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy, an international
association of Catholic bishops, priests, and deacons, pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel
Church in Marysville, Pennsylvania, and of St. Bernadette Church in
Duncannon, Pennsylvania, executive editor of Sapientia magazine, a member of the Fellowship of Catholic
Scholars, and professor at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
He is also a cooperator in the Personal Prelature of Opus Dei.
A Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus
and Chaplain to the Sons of Italy, Father Trigilio preaches retreats at Casa
Maria in Irondale, Alabama, and gives lectures and preaches parish missions
around the country. With Father Ken Brighenti, he has authored several books,
including many in the well-known “Dummies” series published by John Wiley and
Sons. He has also hosted Catholic Answers
Radio and a number of television shows on EWTN, including Web of Faith.
Deacon Gorini serves as a pastoral
associate under Father Trigilio at Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Bernadette.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of Catholic
Clergy and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He served in the United States
Marine Corps and held executive positions at AT&T, AMP, and Hanover Direct,
and was a software quality advisor at Cisco Technologies.
With Father Trigilio, Deacon Gorini
co-founded Evangelization Enterprises, Inc., for which he serves as Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer, and provides guidance to the operating divisions
Heat and Light Ministries, and Heat and Light Media. Evangelization Enterprises
is dedicated to restoring America to her foundational precepts, principles and
values, promoting the dignity of the human person, and advancing the Culture of
Life.
CESJ’s mission is to serve as an
educational center and grassroots social action catalyst with an
Aristotelian-Thomist understanding of the natural law. CESJ’s principles and
programs, a “Just Third Way,” a paradigm or systems shift that transcends the
flaws of both capitalism and socialism, are based on the economic justice
principles (participative justice, distributive justice, and social justice) discerned
by Aristotelian philosopher Mortimer J. Adler and lawyer-economist and ESOP
inventor Louis O. Kelso and presented in their bestselling collaboration The Capitalist Manifesto (1958), and the
social justice principles of Pope Pius XI as analyzed by CESJ co-founder, the

(2004), a “blueprint for change” to overcome the growing wealth and income gap.
CESJ’s most recent publication is the Just Third Way Edition of a “long lost”
book by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, Freedom
Under God, originally published in 1940.
